Here are a few updated photos of the family. I am about 2 weeks away from finishing Calculus, yipee! It is a lot of work but I am learning some neat stuff. Calc 2 starts in about a month.
Well, Hunter is 4 months old now and Lacy and I enjoyed watching him start rolling over the last week. We have basically settled in to our new home and new routines of life with driving farther to work, baby, house, yard and what not. I have been working on making a garden using the technique "Square-foot-gardening." So far the results have been good. It is still early but everything seems to be doing well.
I did my first craft show with my woodcarvings last week and have started selling carvings to a shop down in Branson.
Here are a few pictures that we have taken over the last couple months.
After 9 months of waiting in anticipation our Father has delivered to us a wonderful, healthy, baby boy. Lacy had to have a c-section but everything went smooth and she is recovering really well. Hunter is doing well at feeding and has gained a few ounces since we left the hospital. He was born on January 16th and weighed a whopping 6.5 lbs, and measured 19.5" long.
I have started my first website. I hope to be able to sell a few carvings of mine at www.creationcarvings.com . Please visit and sign the guestbook. Thanks!
The time is getting closer. Lacy has one of her baby showers in a couple weeks and we have been preparing his room lately. Lacy is excited about decorating. I was wanting to leave the deer head ("Bernie" as named by Lacy's dad), but Lacy insists that I take the deer head down. :)
I have been listening to a preacher by the name of Paul Washer over the course of the last 6 months or so, and I have found his passion to be delightfully encouraging to me. The following link will take you to one of his videos on youtube.com:
